How to Delete a Task That Is No Longer Needed?
Confirm the target from the sidebar and separately check saved notes.
First Check Whether to Keep the Results
Before deleting, open the task to confirm its content and save any conclusions or actual attachments that need to be retained. If only the title is unclear, the location is inappropriate, or you do not want to continue sharing, you can rename, move the project, or revoke sharing respectively, without immediately deleting the record. Deletion should be reserved for tasks that are truly no longer needed.
Delete Using the Task Menu
In the option menu of the target task in the sidebar, select "Delete." The confirmation box will display the name of the task to be deleted; carefully verify before proceeding. Wait for the operation to complete during the process. If a failure message appears, first check the list and task status; do not assume the data has been successfully cleared just because the menu disappears.
- Open the target task and verify the title and content.
- Select delete in the task menu.
- Read the confirmation box, confirm, then check whether the task has been removed from the list.
Notes Need to Be Managed Separately
Deleting a conversation does not automatically clear notes saved separately during work. The confirmation interface also provides a prompt to enter settings to manage notes. If the task contains long-term information that needs to be cleaned, go to Settings → Personalization → Manage Notes to check. There is a separate data control entry for clearing all tasks; do not rely on repeatedly clicking single tasks to guess the overall cleaning status. When deleting individual items, the task title is an important clue to confirm the target.
