How to Retrieve an Already Created Share Link?
Copy or open the link from the shared task list to reduce mistaken updates.
First, Find Shared Task Management
If you just want to obtain an existing link again, go to Settings → Data Control → Shared Tasks → Manage. The list will display currently publicly shared tasks and provide options to copy, open, or revoke the link. First verify the task title, especially when multiple tasks have similar names, to avoid sending unrelated public links.
Copy and Verify the Target
Click 'Copy Share Link' next to the target task; a prompt will confirm successful copying. You can also use the 'Open' button to view the corresponding public page to confirm the content matches what the recipient needs. If the browser does not allow copying, follow the interface instructions to use an available method. Do not assume the clipboard contains the correct link just because the button was clicked.
- Enter Shared Task Management and locate the target task.
- Open to view content first, then click to copy the link.
- Before pasting, verify that the link corresponds to the correct task.
Copying and Updating Are Different
Obtaining an existing link from the list is suitable for resharing the current public version; opening the task's share popup will create or update the share timestamp. To include new messages in the share, first check the new content before updating. If you no longer want the link to be public, use 'Revoke Share' instead of just deleting the link text from your own chat messages.
