Does "Acting on Behalf Approval" Automatically Allow All Actions?

Understand the role of automatic review and situations where your decision is required.

Review Boundaries Still Exist

Acting on behalf approval reviews actions and only continues with those judged suitable for automatic handling; actions that may be unsafe or require your decision will still request approval. It is not synonymous with "never ask again" and cannot guarantee identification of all risks.

This option depends on current availability. If the interface does not display it, the existing permission mode should be used.

When Encountering Review or Approval Prompts

A brief display of "Reviewing" indicates the action is under review; "Needs your approval" means your intervention is required. Do not ignore approval cards just because acting on behalf approval is enabled.

If automatic review repeatedly requests confirmation, first check whether the task scope is unclear or the operation itself has significant impact. Adding allowed directories and expected results usually resolves communication issues more easily than broadly expanding permissions; actions still requiring your decision should retain manual judgment.

  1. Review the actual action and reasons shown after review.
  2. Confirm the environment, path, and scope of effect.
  3. Allow operations that meet the objectives, reject inappropriate ones, and explain adjustment directions.

How to Control More Safely

For new tools, important files, and unfamiliar environments, you can switch back to request approval, allowing key steps to be checked one by one. Automatic review does not define task objectives for you, nor does it add isolation to the local computer. When tasks change, first verify whether remaining actions are still within the original scope before deciding to continue, rather than relying solely on mode names to judge safety.
