Why do only some files appear when adding too many attachments at once?

The number of attachments is calculated based on the current mode and already added files, verified item by item, and processed in batches.

Quantity includes attachments already in the input area

The current Ask mode allows up to 10 files, and Agent mode allows up to 20 files. Files already in the input area occupy slots, so when dragging in a new batch, only some may be accepted, with prompts about maximum quantity or only some files added. Do not judge solely by the number newly selected this time, nor assume that partial files appearing means the entire batch is ready.

First check the files to keep

Verify attachment names and failure prompts, remove duplicates or items not needed for this task, then add missing files. If there are many materials, split into multiple tasks by topic or stage, and specify which parts are included each time. Attachments generated from long texts also occupy slots; before deleting attachments, confirm the original files or texts are saved to avoid losing important materials when freeing space.

After ensuring quantity, still check other conditions

Reducing quantity does not automatically fix issues like files being too large, lacking upload permissions, format problems, or network failures. When switching modes, first confirm the corresponding account and execution environment are available, and check the status of existing attachments. Before sending, ensure every required file is ready; if only some content succeeds, let the task proceed based on actual attachments, and do not expect the Agent to assume unread files have been processed.
