Hackcat

Why is the billed amount different from the numbers on the pricing page?

Verify item by item according to currency, billing cycle, seats, and change differences, rather than paying again directly.

First confirm you are comparing the same amount

Hackcat’s current public plan prices are displayed in US dollars. The annual payment column on the pricing page shows the average monthly amount, and Team pricing is per seat; the bill may show the total for the entire period or multiple seats, so a larger number does not necessarily mean double charging.

For example, Team at $40 per seat per month is not the same number as the total for two seats monthly; the monthly equivalent of annual payment cannot be directly compared to the annual bill. Please rely on your confirmed checkout details.

Check plan changes and extra usage separately

Plan changes for existing subscriptions may include fees for the remaining period and deductions from the original plan. Transactions from purchasing Extra Usage or enabling auto top-up are managed separately from subscription renewals and should be verified according to the bill’s purpose.

The Terms of Service mention applicable taxes, but whether they are charged and the exact amounts depend on the actual checkout details; help articles do not assume tax rates. The local currency amount on your bank statement cannot be directly treated as the website’s USD price.

What to do if you find discrepancies

  1. Record the order date, currency, amount, plan name, and number of seats.
  2. Go to Settings → Account to open available billing management and check the corresponding transaction.
  3. If payment has succeeded but benefits remain unchanged, first check the payment status; do not repurchase the same plan to try to “refresh.”
