How to View and Download Files in a Task?
Preview through the actual file entry, download individually, or save in batches.
First Confirm Whether the Result Is Actually a File
The answer may only provide a piece of text, or it may actually return an attachment or downloadable file. Only when a corresponding file entry appears should you view and download via the file entry. If the task claims to have generated a report but only contains text, you can first copy the text or ask for clarification on whether the file has been created and its actual location.
Viewing a Single File
After opening the file preview, you can check the file name and content, then click download. Preview capability varies depending on format and content; if preview fails, the interface may still provide a download entry. After downloading, open it locally to confirm; do not assume the file name or completion prompt proves the content is correct.
- Click the actual file entry in the task.
- View the preview and file name, then click download as needed.
- Open locally to confirm it corresponds to this task.
How to Save Multiple Files
If the "All files in this task" list is opened, you can select files or select all, then use batch download; batch results may be packaged as a ZIP. Verify the number selected before downloading to avoid including old attachments. Sharing the task link differs from downloading original files; the public sharing page does not provide the original attachments as a complete delivery substitute. Important deliverables should be opened and checked one by one to ensure the file content matches the results described in the report.
