Can I pause my subscription plan for a period of time?
Explanation of conditional pause options, effective dates, and charges upon resumption.
Pause is not a fixed option for all accounts
Currently, the pause option is only available to eligible monthly individual Pro, Pro+, and Ultra subscriptions; it does not apply to annual payments or Team plans. It usually appears during the cancellation process. Whether you can see it depends on your current subscription status; if it is not visible, you should not attempt to use it by modifying links or parameters.
The available pause durations are 1, 2, or 3 months, subject to the actual interface. This option is suitable for those who temporarily do not need the service and plan to resume later, rather than those who want to permanently stop future payments.
When does the pause start, and what can be used during the pause
The pause usually takes effect at the end of the current paid billing cycle, maintaining the current cycle benefits until then. Once in the pause period, the account is used at the free tier level and displays the scheduled resume date.
The pause includes arrangements for future subscription resumption. On the resume date, the saved payment method may be charged again. The pause should not be understood as permanently disabling auto-renewal; if you do not intend to resume, you should carefully distinguish between cancellation and pausing.
What to check before and after confirming
- Check the pause effective date, duration, and resume date.
- Confirm the saved payment method and the plan information at the time of resumption.
- After completion, return to your account to view the pause status; if you want to resume early, use "Resume now" and do not purchase the same plan again.
