Terminal Indicates Connection Limit Reached, Should I Reset the Token?

This type of error indicates that the command connection capacity is limited. Stop repeatedly starting the client and try again later as prompted.

Identifying Connection Capacity Errors

The Local Agent will display "Connection limit reached" and then exit when encountering connection limit or corresponding server errors. This is different from token errors, missing Node installation, or file permission errors. Do not assume from this message that you have definitely used up your chat quota, nor that upgrading any plan will immediately resolve this relay connection issue; actual errors and interface permissions should be judged separately.

Reducing Invalid Repeated Attempts

First check whether you are repeatedly starting the client on multiple terminals. End the unnecessary processes, then wait for a while and retry as the terminal prompts. Resetting the account token will disconnect existing connections and is usually not the first step to handle connection capacity errors. Do not rapidly start more clients in a loop during continuous failures, and do not use other people's account credentials for testing.

After Recovery, Re-verify Machine and Tasks

Restart the client and wait until ready, then go to Settings → Remote Control to verify the hostname and environment selection. If the error persists, record the occurrence time, platform, and exact error message, remove the connection command and token before reporting. Whether previous tasks were executed still needs to be checked from the original chat and target machine; do not assume previous operations did not occur due to this connection failure, and do not directly repeat the entire task.
