Can Personal Balance and Team Balance Be Mixed?
Confirm the current billing ownership to avoid recharging the wrong balance pool.
Separate Management of Personal and Team Billing
Personal Extra Usage and team-shared Extra Usage use different balances and management portals. After joining a team, you should not assume your personal balance automatically transfers to the team, nor treat the team balance as cash transferable to your personal account.
First check your current plan and team membership, then go to Settings → Extra Usage to verify whether the displayed balance is personal or team. Whether you can operate on the team billing depends on your team permissions.
Why Team Members Recharging Themselves May Not Solve the Problem
When a team request exceeds the included quota, the team pool status and member limits are checked. Having a personal balance does not mean the team request can automatically borrow it; the team administrator needs to verify the team pool, total limit, and member limits.
Additionally, deleting or leaving a team, canceling a personal subscription, and turning off extra usage are different operations. When subscriptions exist, first confirm billing ownership and pending renewal records; do not assume old bills have ended just by switching interfaces.
Verification Steps Before Payment
- Confirm whether you are on a personal plan or Team, and whether you are an administrator.
- Confirm whether the purchase page indicates personal extra usage or team-shared balance.
- Verify the amount, payment method, and operation result, then return to the same balance pool to check the receipt; do not recharge through both portals repeatedly.
